Clutch Puller Tool for Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Ranger Crew XP 900 RZR XP 4 S 1000

These Power Pucks decrease friction and increase power to the ground in the RZR XP Turbo and RS1 drive clutch for more efficient shift. They also eliminate the binding that can happen when dirt or sand gets into the clutches. We see an increase in response and consistency when these are added to the clutch. They are part of SLP RZR XP Turbo clutch kits and their unique design allows them to be easily installed.

Removal of primary clutch and 12 hours of Elastomeric Rubber dry time after Power Puck installation are required before vehicle operation.

Some specialized tools and supplies are required for the installation:

Primary Clutch Puller #20-136 (removes the primary clutch from the tapered crankshaft)
Primary Clutch Roller Assembly Jam Nut Tool #20-214 & Roller Assembly Jam Nut Tool Alignment Adapter #20-223 (removes the roller assembly jam nut from primary clutch to remove roller assembly)
Primary Clutch Holding Fixture #20-162 (fixture bolts to a table or can be held in a vice to hold primary stationary while removing and re-torquing roller assembly jam nut)
Permatex “The Right Stuff” Elastomeric Rubber #50-355 (used to glue Power Pucks to clutch)

Specialized tools that are highly recommended to help with installation of this kit:

Primary Clutch Holding Tool #20-310 (holds primary clutch from turning while removing or installing the clutch on the tapered shaft)
Clutch Cover Removal Tool #20-311 (magnetic flex nut driver to remove and install the hard to get to clutch cover screws)
Belt Removal Tool #50-60 (compresses the secondary clutch to easily remove the belt from the RZR XP Turbo)
Clutch Press Tool #20-222 (compresses primary clutch for ease of dis-assembly and re-assembly when under spring tension)

NOTE: This fan blade does not replace the stock primary clutch spring cover. This primary clutch fan blade is a must have for anyone with the turbo/RS1 clutches! The primary clutch has fins on the back side to aid in airflow, but is lacking airflow on the spring side of the clutch. With this fan blade we scoop air and force nearly 50 CFM more air through the clutch ducting over stock above 8200 RPM. This results in a cooler running CVT system and less blown belts. On our meter in the factory clutch ducting, the stock CVT rated at 407 CFM @ 8200 RPM. With the clutch fan blade we saw 457 CFM @ 8200 RPM Airflow is better at idle to wide open throttle and ramps up the higher the engine speed Installs easily with the supplied longer bolts right over the factory spring plate Adds support to the clutch towers for rigidity helping clutch life and performance Weighs in at only .4lbs, so extremely lightweight Made from anodized aluminum Keep in mind if you are thinking of going with a CVT blower that they actually restrict airflow at higher RPM’s where you need it most. Our clutch fan blade will perform better than any CVT blower from 5000 RPM and up where you need it most. In rare occasions clearance your plastic clutch cover may be needed if the cover is slightly warped. This would be an extremely small amount and would not effect looks or performance of the clutch cover. Simply use sand paper or a die grinder if you see the fan blade rubbing (It would actually be the bolts rubbing). Fits all 2016-2019 RZR XPT, Turbo S, and RS1 Models
