3M Particulate Filter R2091, P100 consists of 4 each (2 pair) of Particulate P100 Filters. Can be used with 3M 6000 Series Half and Full Facepiece Respirators or 7000 Series Half and Full Facepiece Respirators when equipped with bayonet attachment.

NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. 3M recommended for relief against of organic vapours and ozone protection up to 10 times OSHA PEL. Not NIOSH certified for use against ozone. Use with 3M Respirators 5000 Series or 3M Cartridge 6000 Series with 3M Adapter 502, 3M Facepieces 6000 Series or 3M Facepieces 7000 Series with bayonet filter holders. When properly fitted, use in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode.Refer to specific provincial regulation for appropriate assigned protection factors for full face respirators. Also offers nuisance level relief from organic vapours that are below the PEL. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding OSHA PEL or other applicable government occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower. The filter is effective for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces, or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. This filter helps protect against a wide range of oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants and can be used as a pre-filter for certain chemical exposures. 3M’s Advanced Electret Media (AEM) provides a comfortable lightweight, easy-breathing combination.

Lower pressure drop over time can extend filter life. The 2291 is commonly used for welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring and soldering. The filter works with a wide range of facepieces, including 3M Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series with bayonet filter holders. If used with 3M Adapter 502, the filter may also be used with 3M Respirator 5000 Series or 3M™ Cartridge 6000 Series.

 

Meets Government Safety Standards
The filter is NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. The filter has been assigned the color code “Magenta” in the NIOSH system. Passing NIOSH’s P-series test criteria, the 2291 P100 filter provides at least 99.97 percent filter efficiency. The pressure drop of 2200 Series filters is lower than the pressure drop of comparable competitive products both initially and during loading.
